The Louisiana Baptist Convention has moved the Evangelism Tents to be stored at various locations throughout the state. The I-20 Corridor area's tent is being kept at the Missions Center in Ruston. It is available to be rented for $100. The trailer that carries it has a 2 inch ball. Other information can be received from Bro. Randy at the Minden Missions Center or Bro. Barry Joyner at the Ruston Mission Center.

On May 12, a consultant from the LBC taught volunteers how to put up and take down the tent. Three men from our area attended the training. David LaMaye from Emmanuel, Minden swings the sledge hammer and climbed the pole. Assisting were William McCaan. Holding the tent pole is John McCAan. The McCaan brothers are from North Acres. Randy Hales also attended (I tried to stay away from sledge hammers and poles!) The tent can be adjusted to fit various sizes, 66ft round to 120 ft oblong, from 100 to 650 people.

We can help a church put up the tent. Eight or more men are needed to put up the tent. WORK is spelled with big letters when doing it.

This particular configuration was circlular (from center pole to outside circle 33 feet / 66 feet from edge to edge).
